USS Lake Champlain (CG 57)

Admiral Haney Visits USS Lake Champlain
EVERETT –Commander of the U.S. Pacific Fleet visited USS Lake Champlain (CG 57) on May 2.
Adm. Cecil D. Haney was visiting Naval Base Everett and took the opportunity to meet with the Sailors of Lake Champlain. During his visit, he held an admiral’s call where he answered questions.
“It is always a good experience to hear what our leaders have to say,” said Fire Controlman 3rd Class Michael S. Leone. “It lets us know that we are on the same page and that they have our best interests at heart.”
Lake Champlain pulled into port at Naval Base Everett in preparation for Trident Fury. Trident Fury is a joint exercise between the American Navy, Canadian Navy, Canadian Army, and Canadian Air Force.
