Information Systems Technician First Class Petty Officer
Information Systems Technician 1st Class Petty Officer Angel B. Robinson is a native of Chicago, Ill. She graduated from Hyde Park Career Academy in June 2001 and immediately entered the United States Navy attending basic training in Great Lakes, Ill. in September 2001.
Robinson attended Seamanship Training ATD School in Great Lakes, Ill., and her first duty assignment was aboard USS Fife (DD 991).
In September 2002, she was selected to attend Information System Technician “A” School. In April 2003, Robinson reported to Naval Computer and Telecommunications Strategic Communications Unit Detachment Fairfield, Calif. as a Communications Watch Officer. In June 2005, she became the Communications Leading Petty Officer at Tactical Air Control Squadron 12, Naval Amphibious Base Coronado. In February 2010, she reported to Navy Cyber Forces Detachment San Diego where she advanced to first class petty officer and served as the leading petty officer of the Field Service Department. In December 2012, she reported to USS MobileBay (CG 53).
Robinson’s academic achievements include an Associate’s Degree in General Studies in General Studies, Primary Enlisted Professional Military Educationand Senior Non-commissioned Officer Joint Professional Military Education.
Robinson’s personal awards include the Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal (4), Military Outstanding Volunteer Service Medal, Enlisted Surface Warfare Specialist Insignia, Enlisted Information Dominance Warfare Specialist Insignia and Enlisted Aviation Warfare Specialist Insignia.
