|Lieutenant Commander Jason Patterson
A native of Chicago, Illinois, Lieutenant Commander Jason Patterson graduated from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign with a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics and Computer Science. He received his commission through the NROTC program.
His afloat tours include assignment as the Material and Logistics Officer (N4) for Commander, Amphibious Squadron ONE, Chief Engineer in USS DECATUR (DDG 73), Main Propulsion Assistant in USS JARRETT (FFG 33), and Weapons Officer in USS ARTHUR W. RADFORD (DDG 968).
Ashore, Lieutenant Commander Patterson most recently served as the Education and Special Placement Branch Head for Navy Personnel Command (PERS-44). He is also a graduate of the Naval Postgraduate School earning a Master’s Degree in Information Technology Management.
His personal awards include the Meritorious Service Medal, the Navy Commendation Medal (3 awards), the Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal (3 awards), the Battle E (3 awards) and other various unit and campaign awards.
Lieutenant Commander Patterson assumed his current duties as Executive Officer in USS BUNKER HILL (CG 52) in April of 2012.
