Command Senior Enlisted Leader

Master Chief Zellers is a native of Allentown, Pennsylvania. He graduated from William Allen High School in 1985 and started his naval career at Recruit Training Command Great Lakes, Illinois in June 1986.

After completing Machinist’s Mate "A" School in November 1986, he attended advanced engineering “A” school. Following his training, he reported for his initial sea tour aboard USS JOUETT (CG-29). Subsequent sea tours include USS MIDWAY (CV-41), USS MOMSEN (DDG 92), and two tours aboard USS ABRAHAM LINCOLN (CVN-72).

Master Chief Zellers’ shore assignments include Naval Station San Diego (SIMA) where he was assigned to both the Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Shop and the Alignment Shop, Pacific Northwest Regional Maintenance Center in Naval Base Kitsap Bangor, and Center for Security Forces Learning Site at Naval Station Pearl Harbor.

Master Chief Zellers’ decorations include the Navy Commendation Medal (three awards), Navy Marine Corps Achievement Medal (seven awards), and various service, unit, and deployment awards.
