Senior Enlisted Leader (November 2011 - September 2013)
Senior Chief Eric Deon Stowe, a native of Fayette, Alabama, graduated from Fayette County High School in Fayette, Alabama, enlisted under the delayed entry program in September 1990. He enlisted as a Seaman Recruit, completing Recruit Training, Radioman "A" and "C" Schools in San Diego, California.
His sea duty assignments include USS PHILIPPINE SEA (CG-58) and USS BLUE RIDGE (LCC-19); he also completed a one year Global War on Terrorism Support Assignment serving as the Senior Enlisted Leader for NAVCENT Forward Headquarters Kuwait Reception, Staging, Onward Movement and Integration (RSO&I). Senior Chief Stowe served ashore at Naval Air Facility Washington DC; Naval Computer and Telecommunications Station (NCTS) Yokosuka Japan and Naval Computer and Telecommunications Area Master Station Pacific (NCTAMS PAC) Hawaii.
Senior Chief Stowe received his Associates Degree in Information Technology from Excelsior College New York, New York in February 2008 and graduated from Navy's Senior Enlisted Academy-Class 169 in October 2012. He is also certified as a CompTIA Network and Security Plus Professional. Senior Chief Stowe was selected as a Command Senior Chief in January 2012.
Senior Chief Stowe is currently assigned to Commander, Destroyer Squadron Thirty One, Pearl Harbor, HI as the Senior Enlisted Advisor and Information Assurance Manager. His personal awards include the, Navy Commendation Medal(3), Navy Achievement Medal(2), Good Conduct Medal(5), and numerous campaign and unit awards.
