Senior Chief Wilkinson is a native of Lawton, Oklahoma, and graduated from Eisenhower High School enlisting the Oklahoma National Guard in 1994. After completing boot camp and Advanced Individual Training, he was released into active naval service attending “A” school and “C” school in Groton, Ct. as a Fire Control Technician.
His sea duty assignments include USS WILLIAM H. BATES (SSN-680), USS TOPEKA (SSN-754) and USS CHAFEE (DDG-90) where he led the Weapons Department. He has completed 9 deployments to C5F and C7F AOR’s and reported to Destroyer Squadron THREE ONE in August 2012.
Ashore, Senior Chief Wilkinson attained his Master Training Specialist at Naval Submarine Training Center while instructing Journeyman Networking Core and Advanced Network Analysis and multiple submarine attack centers. He was cross-rated to Fire Controlman in 2007.
His personal awards are the Navy and Marine Commendation medal (2nd Award), Navy and Marine Achievement medal and various campaign and unit awards.
