Senior Chief (SW) Quinten Taylor is a native of New Orleans, LA. He enlisted in the Navy October 1988 and attended Recruit Training Command San Diego, CA.
His first duty station was aboard USS Midway (CV-41) stationed Yokosuka JP. His subsequent sea commands were Amphibious Construction Battalion One, USS Antietam (CG-54), and USS Rushmore (LSD-47), as the engineering department leading Chief Petty Officer. Senior Chief Taylor is currently serving in Destroyer Squadron Twenty Three as the Senior Enlisted Leader and Assistance Materials Officer.
Senior Chief Taylor shore tours include Naval Amphibious Base Boat House Coronado CA, Shore Intermediate Activity San Diego CA, and LSD/LPD Classron as Materials Officer.
Senior Chief Taylor’s personal awards include the Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal (3 awards), Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal (4 awards), and various service and unit awards.
