GULF OF OMAN (September 13, 2009) - Master Chief Petty Officer of the Navy (MCPON), Rick West addresses the crew of the aircraft carrier USS Ronald Reagan (CVN 76) during an all hands call. The MCPON was aboard Ronald Reagan to answer questions from the crew and to thank Sailors for their service while the ship has been deployed to the U.S. 5th Fleet area of responsibility. Operations in the U.S. 5th Fleet are focused on reassuring regional partners of the United States' commitment to security, which promotes stability and global prosperity.
