PACIFIC OCEAN (Aug. 17, 2011) Sailors prepare to launch an E-2C Hawkeye from the Golden Hawks of Airborne Early Warning Squadron (VAW) 112 aboard the Nimitz-class aircraft carrier USS John C. Stennis (CVN 74) prior to flight operations. John C. Stennis Carrier Strike Group is on a scheduled Western Pacific Ocean and Arabian Gulf deployment.
