Commander Noe Executive Officer (December 2008 - December 2010)

CDR Noe hails from Boston, MA. He graduated from Rochester Institute of Technology and was commissioned in 1989 through the ROTC program.

His sea assignments include Communications Officer and Ordnance Officer in USS McINERNEY (FFG 8) taking part in Operation Desert Storm; Anti-Submarine Warfare Officer and Weapons Control Officer in USS GETTYSBURG (CG 64); Combat Systems Officer in USS JOHN HANCOCK (DD 981); and Executive Officer in USS ARDENT (MCM 12) and Mine Countermeasures Rotational Crew FOXTROT in USS DEXTROUS (MCM 13), both forward deployed to Bahrain. He also completed tours as Damage Control Assistant in USS RONALD REAGAN (CVN 76) and Surface Operations Officer on the staff of Commander, Carrier Strike Group 5 / TASK FORCE 70.

CDR Noe’s shore tours include the staff of the Commander, Naval Surface Forces Atlantic Fleet, the Joint Forces Staff College and earning a Master’s Degrees in Electronic Engineering from the Naval Postgraduate School in National Security Affairs and Strategic Studies from the Naval War College.

He is authorized to wear the Meritorious Service Medal, the Navy Commendation Medal (4 awards), the Navy Achievement Medal (3 awards), the Combat Action Ribbon and various unit and campaign awards.
