090917-N-1424C-384 CORONADO, Calif. (Sept. 17, 2009) Sailors assigned to Beach Master Unit (BMU) 1 move a beached sailboat into position to be salvaged off the military beach. The salvage of the sailboat, a joint effort by Amphibious Construction Battalion (ACB) 1 and BMU-1, prevented battering waves from destroying the sailboat and creating debris along the military and wildlife-protected beaches.
