NROTC Ship Selection
Winter 2017 ROTC Ship Selection
Event will be held on 11/14/2017

Arguably the most momentous night of any Surface Warfare Officer's career is his/her ship selection. Resembling the NFL Draft, ship selection is based on a ranking system and available ship list. Midshipmen and Officer Candidates find out their order of merit among their peers and get a call from a detailer at NPC to select the name of the first ship they will serve on in the U.S. Navy. This live web-based event is coordinated through NPC and each of the NROTC units to make a fun and interactive ship selection process that resembles USNA ship selection as closely as possible.
