Nimitz CSG 2013
The Nimitz CSG includes Commander, Carrier Strike Group Eleven (CSG 11), Carrier Air Wing 11 and Commander Destroyer Squadron 23. Ships assigned include: USS Higgins (DDG 76), USS Princeton (CG 59), USS Shoup (DDG 86), USS Stockdale (DDG 106), USS William P. Lawrence (DDG 110), USS Preble (DDG 88) and USS Antietam (CG 54).
Amphibious Landing Exercise 2014 is designed to improve interoperability, increase readiness and enhance the ability to respond to natural disasters or other regional contingencies. PHIBLEX will also enhance local infrastructure and quality of life and build upon vibrant professional and personal relationships between Philippine and U.S. Marines.
Talisman Saber 2013
Talisman Saber 2013 is a bilateral exercise designed to train Australian and U.S. Forces in planning and conducting Combined Task Force operations in order to improve Australian/U.S. combat readiness and interoperability. This exercise is a major undertaking that reflects the closeness of our alliance and the strength of the ongoing military-military relationship.
Pacific Partnership 2013
Pacific Partnership began as a humanitarian response to one of the world’s most catastrophic natural disasters, the 2004 tsunami that devastated parts of Southeast Asia. Known at the time as Operation Unified Assistance, the U.S. government’s swift response to the needs of the region resulted in extraordinary humanitarian aid.
Cooperation Afloat Readiness and Training (CARAT) is an annual, nine-country bilateral naval exercise series between the United States and Bangladesh, Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, the Philippines, Thailand, and Timor Leste and is designed to enhance maritime security skills and operational cohesiveness among participating forces. Vietnam participates in a CARAT-like exchange event.
Dawn Blitz 2013
Dawn Blitz 2013 is a live and synthetic amphibious exercise that will focus on the Amphibious Task Force conducting the planning and execution of Naval Task Force operations in a non-permissive environment and a large scale amphibious assault.
International Mine Countermeasures Exercise (IMCMEX) 13, is the largest exercise of its kind in the region and will exercise a wide spectrum of defensive operations designed to protect international commerce and trade; mine countermeasures, maritime security operations (MSO) and maritime infrastructure protection (MIP).
Foal Eagle 2013
Foal Eagle is a series of 20 separate but inter-related joint and combined field training exercises conducted by Combined Forces Command and U.S. Forces Korea components spanning ground, air, naval, expeditionary, and special operations. The exercises include both US and ROK forces and they are the culmination of many months of planning.
Trident Fury 2013
Trident Fury is a biennial joint and often multinational naval exercise hosted and organized by Maritime Forces Pacific in Esquimalt, British Columbia. Running from 3 to 19 May, Trident Fury 13 will include participation from the Royal Canadian Navy, the Royal Canadian Air Force, the Canadian Army, the United States Navy, the United States Air Force, the United States Air National Guard, and the United States Coast Guard.
Balikatan means "shoulder-to-shoulder," and characterizes the spirit of this bilateral Philippines-U.S. exercise.
Cobra Gold 2013
Cobra Gold is an annual Thai-U.S. co-sponsored joint and multinational exercise. Particpating nations include: Kingdom of Thailand, United States, Singapore, Japan, Indonesia, Republic of Korea and Malaysia.

Keen Sword 2013 is a biannual exercise held to enable the United States and Japan to train in coordination procedures and heighten interoperability needed to effectively defend or respond to a crisis in Japan and the Asia-Pacific region.
Cooperation Afloat Readiness and Training (CARAT) is a series of annual bi-lateral exercises between the U.S. Navy, its sister services and the maritime forces of nine Southeast Asian countries.
Valiant Shield 2012
Valiant Shield focuses on integrated joint training and interoperability among U.S. military forces while responding to a range of mission scenarios.
IMCMEX12 will be conducted in 2 phases: a 2-3 day symposium with NAVCENT HQ, followed by an afloat exercise in the international waters and airspace of multiple operating areas to include the Red Sea, Gulf of Aden, Gulf of Oman and Persian Gulf.
Foal Eagle 2012
Foal Eagle is an annual series of defense-oriented training events designed to increase readiness to defend the Republic of Korea (ROK), protect the region and maintain stability on the Korean peninsula. The exercise enhances the combat readiness posture of the ROK-U.S. alliance through combined joint training.
Koa Kai 2012
Koa Kai is a semiannual exercise in the waters around Hawaii designed to prepare independent deployers in multiple warfare areas and provide training in a multi-ship environment.
Cobra Gold 2012
