SAN DIEGO - Vice Admiral D.C. Curtis, Commander, Naval Surface Force, U.S. Pacific Fleet, joins base officials to cut the ribbon officially opening Surface Warrior Park on Naval Base San Diego. The park, which consists of 2 baseball fields, is a environmentally friendly design that utilizes synthetic grass to save water and minimize maintenance costs.
