USS Defender (MCM 2) recieves lines from JS Uraga (MST 463) in preparation for astern refueling practice between US Navy and Japan Maritime Self Defense Force ships May 22 off the coast of Okinawa, Japan. The crew of the Defender conducted exchanges and celebrated the 50th anniversary of the US-Japan Security Treaty during a port visit to Okinawa, Japan.
