Mission of EXPEDITIONARY STRIKE GROUP SEVEN DET 218

The mission of Navy Reserve unit EXPEDITIONARY STRIKE GROUP SEVEN DET 218 is to provide trained and qualified personnel for mobilization to Expeditionary Strike Force seven staff in time of war or national emergency and augmentation to support operational planning and execution.

Training and Readiness: To ensure necessary information, materials and resources are available to meet the unit’s training and qualification needs. This is accomplished by facilitating and conducting instructor led training and providing guidance and assistance with NKO. We also track and maintain records of completion for training and security requirements, to ensure all unit members are prepared for deployment or to provide operational support.
