Chief Of Staff (August 2010 - August 2012)

CAPT Agle entered the Navy as an E-1 in May of 1983.  In July of 1985, she entered the Naval Academy as a Second Class Fire Control Technician (FC2).  Graduating from USNA in 1989, she began her commissioned service.

CAPT Agle’s first tour was Deck Officer and then Boilers Officer in USS WHITE PLAINS (AFS 4).  Her Department Head tours were First Lieutenant in USS WHIDBEY ISLAND (LSD 41) and Operations Officer for Commander Amphibious Squadron Two (CPR2 N3).  While serving as CPR2 N3, she deployed in USS KEARSARGE (LHD 3) and later in USS NASSAU (LHA 4).  Her Executive Officer tour was served in USS PEARL HARBOR (LSD 52).  CAPT Agle successfully completed her Command Tour in USS OAK HILL (LSD 51) in March of 2009; her tour in OAK HILL included a seven month, independent, anti-piracy deployment and a successful Engineering Operational Certification.  CAPT Agle’s sea service includes deployments in support of various operations including: Desert Shield, Desert Storm, Noble Anvil, Joint Guardian, Allied Force, Avid Response, Shining Hope, Enduring Freedom and Iraqi Freedom. She also spent 4 months as deputy commodore of Amphibious Squadron 11 before reporting to her current position as Chief of Staff for Amphibious Force Seventh Fleet.

CAPT Agle’s shore assignments include Schedules Officer for Commander Logistics Group One, Administrative Assistant to the Navy’s Chief of Legislative Affairs, Human Resources Officer for Commander Naval Surface Forces Pacific, Student at the National War College, C2 Functional Capabilities Board Working Group Chair for the Chairman, Joint Chiefs of Staff and Military Faculty at Command and Staff College, Marine Corps University.

CAPT Agle holds a BS in English from USNA, an MBA with an Emphasis in Human Resource Management from National University, and an MS in National Security Strategy from the National War College, NDU.

Personal awards include a Bronze Star and Defense Meritorious Service Medal.
