Command Master Chief

Master Chief Kunzweiler enlisted in the U.S. Navy on 21 June 1989 and completed recruit training in Orlando, Florida.

At-sea assignments include Weapons Technician onboard USS EISENHOWER (CVN 69), Independent Duty Intelligence Specialist and Electronic Warfare Division Leading Petty Officer onboard USS RUSSELL (DDG 59), Carrier Intelligence Center Division Leading Chief Petty Officer and Operations Department Leading Chief Petty Officer onboard USS NIMITZ (CVN 68), Senior Enlisted Leader at Strike Force Training Pacific in Coronado, California, and Command Master Chief onboard USS STETHEM (DDG 63).

Shore duty assignments include All-Source Intelligence Analyst at Fleet Ocean Surveillance Information Facility, Rota, Spain, Imagery Analyst and Civil Maritime Current Operations Division Leading Petty Officer at Office of Naval Intelligence, Suitland, Maryland, First Phase Indications and Warnings Operations Chief, Executive Assistant for Director of Operations, and Non-commissioned Officer In-charge Targeting Support Branch, Korea Division, at Joint Intelligence Center Pacific, Pearl Harbor, Hawaii, and Fleet Intelligence Lead for Enlisted Manpower and Training at at Headquarters, U.S. Pacific Fleet, Pearl Harbor, Hawaii.

He is a graduate of the United States Senior Enlisted Academy, Class 172, Gray Group and the CMC/COB Course, Class 116.  He is both Enlisted Surface Warfare Specialist and Enlisted Aviation Warfare Specialist qualified.
