CMDCM(EXW/FMF) Paul Loomis
Command Master Chief
Master Chief Loomis is a native of Kettering, Ohio and enlisted in the Navy in October 1990. Upon completion of recruit training in Great Lakes, Illinois, he attended Hospital Corpsman “A” School and then went on to attend Field Medical Service School at Camp Johnson, North Carolina before transferring to his first duty station at Portsmouth Naval Medical Center.
He successfully completed four operational tours of duty assigned to 3rd Marine Division, Okinawa, Japan. They included 3rd Amphibious Assault Vehicle Battalion, 2nd Battalion 12th Marines, 3rd Battalion, 12th Marines and Headquarters, Third Marine Division. Additionally he completed three operational tours in support of Operation Enduring Freedom and Iraqi Freedom while assigned to SEAL Team ONE and Coastal Riverine Squadron THREE.
Ashore, he served at Naval Hospital Camp Lejeune, NC; Branch Medical Clinic, Norfolk Naval Shipyard, VA; Naval Hospital Yokosuka, Japan, Maritime Expeditionary Security Group ONE and Walter Reed National Military Medical Center.
He is a graduate of the Army Chemical School as a CBR-D specialist and completed Surface Force Independent Duty Corpsman School, graduating with distinction. Additionally he completed the Navy Senior Enlisted Academy and Command Master Chief course. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Health Care Management from Touro University International.
Master Chief Loomis's awards and decorations include the Joint Service Commendation Medal, Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal (three awards), Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal (four awards), Coast Guard Operational Achievement Medal, Coast Guard Meritorious Team Medal as well as various campaign and unit awards.
