CMDCM(SW/AW) Keith A. Webb
Command Master Chief
Master Chief Webb was born in Philadelphia, Pa. He graduated from Benjamin Franklin High School in 1988 and joined the Navy in February 1990 attending Basic Training at Recruit Training Command, Great Lakes, IL.
Master Chief Webb’s sea tours include assignments onboard the USS FULTON (AS 11) decommissioning unit (LABRADOR TWR 681) homeported at Naval Submarine Base, Groton, CT. The USS MOUNT WHITNEY (LCC 20) where he qualified as an Enlisted Surface Warfare Specialist during the ship’s deployment to the Mediterranean Sea.
Master Chief Webb follow on duty was on USS FRANK CABLE (AS 40) homeported in Agana, Guam, where he advanced to the ranks of Chief Petty Officer, the USS IWO JIMA (LHD 7), where he qualified as an Enlisted Aviation Warfare Specialist and advanced to the ranks of Senior Chief Petty Officer. The USS BARRY (DDG 52), homeported in Norfolk, VA where he served as Engineering Departmental LCPO, the USS OAK HILL (LSD 51), and the Pre-Commissioning Unit ARLINGTON (LPD 24).
Ashore, Master Chief Webb served onboard the Shippingport (ARDM 4) Naval Submarine Base, Groton, CT. He also served at Port Operations NOB, Afloat Training Group, Naval Station Norfolk, VA, and Patrol Coastal Squadron ONE, located at JEB Little Creek VA where he was selected into the Command Senior Chief Program. His first assignment was onboard the USS GARY (FFG 51) homeported in San Diego where he advanced to the ranks of Master Chief Petty Officer.
Master Chief Webb reported in Dec 2012 to the USS OAK HILL were he serves as the Command Master Chief. He has earned Afloat and Master Training Specialist qualifications, a Bachelors Degree, four Navy Commendation Medals, six Navy Marine Corps Achievement Medals, six Navy Good Conduct Medals and various campaign and unit awards. He is married to Crystal and has three children, Kadeisha (24), Keith III (19) and Elias (4).
