An Arkansas native who attended Recruit Training and Seaman Apprenticeship Training at Recruit Training Command Great Lakes.
Command Master Chief tours include: USS GUNSTON HALL (LSD 44) and Commander Fleet Activities Chinhae, Korea.
Ship assignments include: USS HUÈ CITY (CG 66), USS BONHOMME RICHARD (LHD 6), and USS ESSEX (LHD 2).
Shore assignments include: Recruit Training Command Great Lakes (Instructor Duty), Naval Support Activity Naples Italy (Security), Navy Expeditionary Guard Battalion Cuba (Detainee Operations), Naval Criminal Investigative Service (NCIS), and Individual Augmentee (IA) in Iraq supporting the Army's 5th Special Forces Group.
He is a graduate of KEYSTONE (Class 15-2), Navy Leadership and Ethics Course (Class 132), and Senior Enlisted Academy (Class 178).
Master Chief Robinson’s personal awards include: Defense Meritorious Service Medal, Meritorious Service Medal, Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal (5), Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal (3), and various unit and service awards.
Earned: Bachelors Degree in Criminal Justice with a focus in Education and an Associates Degree in Business Management. Qualified: Surface Warfare, Expeditionary Warfare, Air Warfare, and Master Training Specialist.
Former Ratings: Undesignated Seaman, Gunners Mate, and Master-at-Arms.
