ADCS(AW/NAC) Jonathon R. Redfield Command Senior Chief

Senior Chief Jonathon Redfield is a native of Flemington, NJ and enlisted in the United States Navy in August 1992.
After completing recruit training in Orlando, FL, and the P-3 Flight Engineer training pipeline in Jacksonville, FL, he reported to Patrol Squadron EIGHT (VP-8) in Brunswick, ME. His second command was Patrol Squadron TWO SIX (VP-26) also in Brunswick, ME. After completing this tour of duty he transferred to AIR Test and Evaluation Squadron TWO ZERO in Patuxent River, MD. During this tour he was initiated into the Chief Petty Officer ranks.
His next tour of duty was with Patrol Squadron NINE, Kaneohe Bay, HI, where he served as the Operations Department Leading Petty Officer and Senior Instructor. Next he reported to Officer Training Command, Newport, RI, where he served as the Lead Recruit Division Commander and Operations Department leading Petty Officer.
In February 2010, Senior Chief Redfield was selected to the Command Senior Chief program. In August 2012, he reported to USS KAUFFMAN and assumed the duties as the Command Senior Chief.
Senior Chief Redfield is a graduate of the United States Army Sergeants Major Academy, Class 62.
Senior Chief Redfield's personal awards include the Air Medal (two strike flight awards), Navy Commendation Medal (three awards), Navy Achievement Medal (five awards) and various unit and campaign awards. He is qualified as both an Enlisted Aviation Warfare Specialist and Naval Aircrewman.
