E-6 and below checking in should report aboard in dress uniform, E-7 and above in khaki. Have your orders, your records, and it's recommended that you bring two locks for locking up your possessions in your rack. If the ship is deployed then report to COMDESRON 14.
Driving Directions
If traveling from the North (or the Airport):
- Drive South on I-95
- Get on Rt.9A, heading south (right after the I-295 exit)
- Approximately 17 miles later, exit onto Atlantic Blvd (right exit only)
- Turn left, heading east
- Approximately 12 miles later you will go over the Intracoastal Bridge, shortly after the bridge is the right exit for Mayport Road
- Mayport Road ends at the main gate
If traveling from the West:
- Head east on Rt.10
- Get on I-95 North
- Take exit 115 (Union Street)
- When you cross the Mathews Bridge it becomes Arlington Expressway
- Arlington Expressway will run into Atlantic Blvd
- Approximately 14 miles later you will go over the Intracoastal bridge, shortly after the bridge is the right exit for Mayport Road
- Mayport Road ends at the main gate
If traveling from the South:
- Take I-95 North to Southside Blvd
- Then head east on John Turner Butler Blvd
- Take the San Pablo exit
- Head North on San Pablo until you hit Atlantic Blvd (2nd stop light)
- Go right (east) on Atlantic Blvd
- Almost immediately you will go over the Intracoastal bridge, shortly after the bridge is the right exit for Mayport Road
- Mayport Road ends at the main gate
