CMDCM(SW) Martin Roberts attended basic training at Recruit Training Command Great Lakes. Following basic training, he attended Electronics Technician “A” School at Service School Command Great Lakes and Electronics Technician “C” Schools at Fleet Training Center Norfolk.

His first duty assignment was Shore Intermediate Maintenance Activity Guantanamo Bay. Sea tours include USS SAMUEL ELIOT MORISON (FFG 13), USS ESTOCIN (FFG 15), and USS MCCLUSKY (FFG 41). Shore assignments include Fleet & Mine Warfare Training Center, Recruit Training Command, Navy Region Southwest Reserve Component Command, Joint Task Force Guantanamo Bay and Navy Operational Support Center North Island.

He is a graduate of the U.S. Navy Senior Enlisted Academy (Class 157) and earned his Master’s degree in Homeland Security Management from the University of Maryland University College. His personal awards include the Meritorious Service Medal, Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal, Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal and various unit and service awards.
