Master Chief Lisitsin hails from New York City, New York. He enlisted in the U.S. Navy January 1987 in Brooklyn, New York and reported to Recruit Training Command, Great Lakes, Illinois March 1987.

After graduating from Boot Camp he reported to NATTC Millington for Aviation Structural Mechanic (Structures) AMS “A” school. His follow on training included: Non-Destructive Technician “C” School, Radiation Safety Officer “C” School.

Duty assignments include Patrol Squadron Six Four NAS Willow Grove, Pennsylvania; Aircraft Intermediate Maintenance Department, NAS South Weymouth, Massachusetts; Aircraft Intermediate Maintenance Department, NAS Willow Grove, Pennsylvania; Fleet Logistics Squadron Five Two, NAS Willow Grove, Pennsylvania; Helicopter Anti Submarine Squadron Six Zero, NS Mayport, Florida; Strike Fighter Squadron Two Zero Four, NAS New Orleans, Louisiana; Fighter Squadron Composite Twelve, NAS Oceana, Virginia; Electronic Attack Squadron Two Zero Nine, Joint Base Andrews, Maryland; He is currently serving as Command Master Chief on board USS FARRAGUT(DDG-99).

Master Chief Lisitsin is a graduate of the Navy Senior Enlisted Academy Class NRC-19, Command Master Chief/Chief of the Boat Class 75, and has earned an Associate’s Degree of Applied Science in Technical Studies from Excelsior College, New York.

Master Chief Lisitsin’s personal awards include: Meritorious Service Medal, Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal (three awards), Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal (five awards), Good Conduct Medal (seven awards),  Military Outstanding Volunteer Service Medal (two awards), GWOT Expeditionary Medal, GWOT Service Medal, Afghanistan Campaign Medal, and various unit and service awards.
