Commander Allen SiegristCommanding Officer
A native of Lancaster, Pennsylvania, Commander Allen Siegrist graduated from the United States Naval Academy in 1999 with a B.S. in Oceanography.
His initial sea tour was onboard USS Antietam (CG 54), where he served as Auxiliaries Officer. His second division officer tour was as Operations/Executive Officer of USS Shamal (PC 13). Following shore duty, he completed his first department head tour as Operations Officer on USS Donald Cook (DDG 75) before serving as Operations Officer in USS Anzio (CG 68). He then completed his Executive Officer tour onboard USS Jason Dunham (DDG 109).
Ashore, Commander Siegrist participated in the Leadership, Education, and Development (LEAD) program at the United States Naval Academy, where he received a master’s degree in Leadership, and served two years as a USNA Company Officer and Leadership, Ethics, and Law instructor. Following his Department Head tours, he was assigned to the Surface Warfare Directorate (N96) in the Office of the Chief of Naval Operations where he served as the Surface Warfare Congressional Liaison. Most recently, he completed a tour as a Surface Warfare post-department head detailer in PERS-41, Navy Personnel Command.
Commander Siegrist’s personal decorations include the Navy Commendation Medal; Navy-Marine Corps Achievement Medal and various unit and service awards.
