Commander Bryan Gallo
Commander Bryan Gallo graduated from Florida State University with a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry and was commissioned in May of 1999.
Commander Gallo's sea tours include serving as Assistant Reactor Officer and Reactor Electrical Assistant in USS DWIGHT D EISENHOWER (CVN 69) where he completed two deployments in support of OEF in 2009 & 2010. He also served as Operations Officer in USS ROSS (DDG 71) where he completed a 2008 deployment as part of the NASSAU ESG in support of OEF. Prior to his department head tours, he served as Reactor Mechanical Division Officer and Reactor Propulsion Division Officer in HARRY S TRUMAN (CVN 75) where he completed a 2003 deployment in support of OIF.
Commander Gallo's shore tours include Nuclear Power Training Unit, Charleston where he served as Shift Engineer in Moored Training Ship 635. Following his department head tours, he attended the U.S. Army Command and General Staff College in Fort Leavenworth, Kansas where he completed the Army’s Intermediate Level Education/Advanced Operations Course while earning his Master’s Degree in Engineering Management from Old Dominion University. He completed a tour at U.S. Special Operations Command where he served in the Global Mission Support Center and the J-33.
Commander Gallo's decorations and awards include: Defense Meritorious Service Medal and Navy Commendation Medal (four awards). Additionally, he is authorized to wear numerous unit and campaign awards.
