CMDCM (SW/IDW/AW) Milly Rivera-Fisher
Command Master Chief
Master Chief Rivera-Fisher was born in Lowell, Massachusetts and raised in Toa Baja, Puerto Rico. She enlisted in the Navy from the island in October 1994, reported to Recruit Training Command in Great Lakes, Illinois, and attended Data Processing (DP) ‘A’ School in San Diego, California.
Master Chief Rivera-Fisher’s duty stations include Surface Warfare Development Group, Virginia Beach, Virginia followed by a tour at NCTAMS EURCENT, Naples, Italy.
In 2001, she was part of the Pre-commissioning crew onboard the USS PREBLE (DDG 88) home ported in San Diego, California. Her next tour of duty was onboard USS HOPPER (DDG 70) where she was advanced to Chief Petty Officer in 2006.
In 2007 she reported to Navy Marine Corps Intranet Detachment in Norfolk, Virginia where she served as the Network Operating Center and Training Department Leading Chief Petty Officer.
In January 2011, she reported onboard the USS KEARSARGE (LHD 3) where she qualified as Debark Control Officer, Combat Information Center Watch Officer and completed two arduous deployment cycles. In January 2014, she reported to SPAWAR Systems Center Atlantic in Norfolk, Virginia where she was advanced to Master Chief Petty Officer and completed her tour as the Command Master Chief. She was selected into the Command Master Chief program in 2015.
In March of 2016 she reported onboard USS THE SULLIVANS (DDG 68) and serves as the CMC.
Master Chief Rivera-Fisher obtained her Bachelors of Science Degree in Information Systems Management from the University of Maryland. She is a graduate of the Senior Enlisted Academy Class 156 Gold and the Command Master Chief Course Class 152.
Master Chief Rivera-Fisher’s personal awards include the Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal (4 awards), Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal (6 awards), Army Achievement Medal, and numerous unit and campaign awards.
