Commander Chris H. Inskeep

Commander Chris Inskeep is a 1995 graduate of the United States Naval Academy.  His first sea duty assignment was aboard USS O’Bannon (DD 987) where he served as Electrical Officer and Main Propulsion Assistant.  His next assignment was aboard USS Boone where he served as Ordnance Officer.  Subsequent sea duty assignments included Engineer Officer in USS Samuel B. Roberts (FFG 58) and USS Vicksburg (CG 69).

Assignments ashore included the Chief of Naval Operations’ staff in OPNAV N86 Directorate for Surface Warfare as Section Head and Requirements Officer for Future Ships DDG 1000.  His most recent assignment was in the Missile Defense Agency where he was assigned to the Systems Engineering Directorate as well as the Joint Staff Integration and Navy Transition and Transfer Cell. 

Commander Inskeep earned a B.S. from the U.S. Naval Academy in Mechanical Engineering, and a M.A. from the Naval Postgraduate School in National Security Affairs.

Commander Inskeep's personal decorations include the Defense Meritorious Service Medal, the Meritorious Service Medal, the Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal (2 awards), the Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal (2 awards), and various service campaign and unit decorations.

He is married with 4 children.
