Commander Andrew P. FitzpatrickExecutive Officer

Commander Andrew P. Fitzpatrick is a native of Sequim, WA. He graduated from Sequim High School, enlisting in the US Navy in 1987 as an Electric Warfare Technician.
Prior to commissioning, he served at sea in USS GRIDLEY (CG 21), Fleet Tactical Deception Group Pacific, and USNS KILAUEA (T-AE 26). He selected into the enlisted commissioning program and graduated Oregon State University Cum Laude in 1996.
Commander Fitzpatrick completed a tour in USS MAHAN (DDG 72); qualifying as a Surface Warfare Officer and serving in engineering, combat systems, and operations departments. He selected for early roller program and completed department head tours as operations officer in USS WINSTON S CHURCHILL (DDG 81) and on the staff of Commander, Destroyer Squadron TWO.
Shore assignments include Flag Aide to Commander, Naval Sea Systems Command; US Marine Corps Command and Staff College; Joint Forces Staff College; and Joint Warfare Analysis Center. He holds a master at arts degree in Military Studies and qualified as a Joint Service Officer.
Commander Fitzpatrick's awards include the Defense Meritorious Service Medal, Meritorious Service Medal, Navy Commendation Medal (four awards), Navy achievement Medal (three awards), Good Conduct Medal (two awards), and various other unit and campaign awards.
