Lieutenant Commander David A. Huljack
A native of Stockton, NJ, Lieutenant Commander David Huljack graduated from the US Naval Academy in 2000. He has also earned a Master’s Degree from the US Naval War College.
At sea as a Division Officer, he served in Combat Systems Departments aboard the frigate, USS FORD (FFG 54), homeported in Everett, Washington and the cruiser and Strike Group Air Defense Commander, USS COWPENS (CG 63), forward deployed to Yokosuka, Japan.
As an afloat Department Head, Huljack served twice as Operations Officer, first in the destroyer USS JOHN S. MCCAIN (DDG 56), also out of Yokosuka, and then in the cruiser USS VELLA GULF (CG 72), deploying to the Arabian Gulf and Somali Basin from Norfolk, VA.
Ashore, Huljack has served as a Company Officer at the Naval Academy Preparatory School, an Air and Missile Defense Instructor at Surface Warfare Officer School, and as the Deputy Director of Professional Development at the Naval Academy.
