CMDCM(SW/AW) Paulette Brock
Command Master Chief

A native of Bronx, New York, Master Chief Brock enlisted in the United States Navy in June 1985. Following completion of basic training at Recruit Training Command, Orlando, Florida she reported to Naval Air Station Security Department, Lemoore, California. She received follow-on orders to Small Craft Division Submarine base Pearl Harbor, HI. After successful completion of her enlistment, Master Chief Brock transitioned to Selected Reserve status for five years. In January, 1996, she returned to the Navy in the Training Administration of Reserve (TAR) Program.

Master Chief Brock’s fleet assignments included USS INCHON (MCS-12) home ported Ingleside, Texas and the USS MASON DDG (87) home ported Norfolk, Virginia. She also completed tours at the following shore assignments: Naval Construction Battalion Center (CBC), Port Hueneme, California; Cargo Handling Battalion Group, Williamsburg, Virginia; Naval Coastal Warfare Williamsburg, Virginia, and; Naval Air Facility (NAF), Andrews Air Force Base, Maryland and Riverine Group ONE, Little Creek, Virginia. Master Chief Brock continued her career as a Boatswain’s Mate until designated a Command Master Chief on February 18, 2010.

Master Chief Brock has earned the Enlisted Surface Warfare, Aviation Warfare, and Master Training Specialist designations. In addition, she qualified as Officer of the Deck underway and Helicopter Control Officer. She holds a Bachelor in Business Management Degree from National-Louis University. Completed the Senior Enlisted Course (2009)and the CMC/COB course in Newport Rhode Island (2010).

Her decorations include the Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal (two awards), Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal (seven awards), Military Outstanding Volunteer medal and various unit and campaign awards.
