Senior Enlisted Advisor

Information Systems Technician Senior Chief (SW/IDW) Thedora R. Richardson is a native of Dayton, Ohio and joined the Navy in 1988.  She attended basic training in Orlando, FL and Radioman A school in San Diego, CA. She has completed System Administrator C school, Advanced Network Analysis C school, Spectrum Management school and the Senior Enlisted Academy.

Senior Chief Richardson’s sea tours include, serving in Operations Department onboard USS Emory S Land (AS39), USS L Y Spear (AS36), and as the Operations Leading Chief Petty Officer onboard USS Tortuga (LSD46), and USS Fort McHenry (LSD43).  Senior Chief Richardson is currently serving as N6A Leading Chief Petty Officer and Senior Enlisted Leader at Amphibious Squadron FOUR currently embarked onboard USS Kearsarge (LHD3).

Ashore Senior Chief Richardson served at Naval Communications Station Keflavik, IC, CUSL Norfolk, VA, NOPF Dam Neck, VA, NCTS Sigonella, IT,  COMOPTEVFOR Norfolk, VA and NCTS Bahrain. 

Senior Chief Richardson is authorized to wear the Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal (4 awards), Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal (four awards), 24 years good conduct and a host of unit awards. She graduated from the Senior Enlisted Academy in 2010 and earned her Bachelors of Science degree in Liberal Arts with a minor in Criminal Justice from Excelsior College.
