CMDCM(SW/EXW) Jamie Hamilton
Command Master Chief

Biography PhotoMaster Chief Jamie Hamilton graduated from Camden County High School in Woodbine, Georgia, and enlisted in the U.S. Navy in April 1993. He enlisted as a Seaman Recruit and completed Recruit and Seaman Apprenticeship Training in Orlando, Florida.

His sea duty assignments include USS WARRIOR (MCM 10); USS CHAMPION (MCM 4); USS HALYBURTON (FFG 40); USS GETTYSBURG (CG 64) where he served as Leading Chief Petty Officer of Deck Division and completed a six month deployment in support of Counter-Piracy Operations; Coastal Riverine Squadron DELTA Company Detachment, where he served as Senior Enlisted Leader; and USS Oak Hill (LSD 51) where he served as Command Master Chief, completed a seven month deployment to the FIFTH and SIXTH fleet AORs, which included two exercises in support of Maritime Security Operations, and was the driving force behind OAK garnering all five excellence awards for two consecutive years. He has also served ashore at Naval Air Station Corpus Christi, Texas; Naval Air Station Jacksonville, Florida.

He is a graduate of the Air Force Senior Non-Commissioned Officer Academy (Class 11-A) and the Command Master Chief/Chief of the Boat Course (Class 130).

Master Chief Hamilton reported to Commander, Naval Beach Group Two in July 2016. His personal decorations include the Meritorious Service Medal, Navy & Marine Corps Commendation Medal (three awards), Navy & Marine Corps Achievement Medal (eight awards), Good Conduct Medal (seven awards), Military Outstanding Volunteer Service Medal, and various unit and campaign awards.
