GMC (SW) Brandon D. Clark

A native of Daytona Beach, Florida, Chief Petty Officer Clark enlisted in June 2000. He reported to basic training in Great Lakes, IL July 2000. He graduated from Apprentice Training Division as an undesignated Seaman and reported to his first command, USS SAMUEL B. ROBERTS (FFG 58) in Mayport, Fl. He then struck Gunners Mate and advanced to Petty Officer Second Class.

In December 2004, Chief Clark reported to Southeast Regional Maintenance Center, Mayport, Fl, and advanced to First Class Petty Officer. In June 2008, he reported to USS VICKSBURG (CG 69) Mayport, Fl, and qualified as Anti-Terrorism Watch Officer.

In October 2013, he reported to Center for Security Forces Learning Site, Mayport, Fl, and advanced to Chief Petty Officer. Furthermore, he qualified as Master Training Specialist. He holds an Associates of Arts Degree in Technical Studies from Excelsior College. 

In April 2016, he reported to USS VICKSBURG (CG 69), Mayport, Fl, as Leading Chief Petty Officer for Combat Missiles Division. In July 2016, USS VICKSBURG (CG 69) conducted homeport shift Norfolk, Va, and indoctrinated into the Cruiser Modernization Program. 

Chief Clark assumed duties as Senior Enlisted Advisor of USS VICKSBURG (CG 69) in January 2017.
His personal awards include Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal (two awards), Navy Achievement Medal (seven awards), and various unit and personal citations.
