Lieutenant Jason R. Becker

 LT Becker born in Virginia, graduated from Florida in 1993 and attended enlisted Basic Training at Recruit Training Command, Orlando, Fl.

Following Basic Training he was assigned to USS ENTERPRISE (CVN 65) from March 1995 through September 1996 as an undesignated Fireman.  He was approved to transfer to Fire Controlman “A” School training in Great Lakes, IL with follow on AEGIS Display “C” school training in Dahlgren, Va.  
He was assigned to USS VICKSBURG (CG 69) from March 1997 through September 2001 where he advanced to First Class Petty Officer and earned his Enlisted Surface Warfare Specialist qualification.  Duties included one deployment to the Mediterranean in 1997 and participation in CEC OPEVAL/TECHEVAL testing and development including Aegis baseline upgrade from B/L 5.3 to 6.1.
In October 2001 he reported to AEGIS Training and Readiness Center Dahlgren, Va for duty as an Aegis Computer Networking Technician and later serving as N43 Leading Petty Officer.
Upon the completion of his tour at ATRC, he reported to Pre-Commissioning Unit FARRAGUT (DDG 99) as an Aegis Weapon Systems Supervisor from February 2005 to February 2008.  While assigned to USS FARRAGUT, he was selected in the Limited Duty Officer program and commissioned on 01 February 2008. 
In March 2008 he reported to USS HARRY S TRUMAN (CVN 75) as the Ship’s Self Defense Officer where he qualified as Officer of the Deck.  Duties included an Arabian Gulf deployment and an EDSRA. 
In June 2010, he reported to USS VELLA GULF (CG 72) as the Systems Test Officer where he qualified Surface Warfare Officer.  Duties included USS VELLA GULF’s first two BMD deployments and a DSRA.
In March of 2013, he reported to the Board of Inspection and Survey as an INSURV inspector.  Duties included traveling to all fleet concentration areas inspecting every class of ship in the Navy.  LT Becker qualified in BMD, Weapons, ASW, Operations, Nav and Mine warfare areas.
In February 2015 he reported to the Center for Surface Combat Systems Detachment Norfolk.  After completion of the IAMD Warfare Tactics Instructor course, he was assigned as an Advanced Warfare Training instructor delivering IAMD PH II/III training to the waterfront.
In March 2017, LT Becker reported to USS ANZIO (CG 68) as the Systems Test Officer with follow on duties as the Ships Life Extension Program “Care Taker Crew”,  Executive Officer.
His personal decorations include the Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal (4 awards), the Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal (five awards) and the Good Conduct Medal (four awards), as well as various unit awards, campaign and service decorations.
LT Becker is married, and has four children.
