Commander Terrence Frost
CDR Frost began his career in 1993 when he enlisted as an Air Traffic Controller in Columbia, South Carolina. He served on a variety of shore and overseas billets before earning a commission through the Enlisted Commissioning Program in 2001 from the University of South Carolina.
His initial sea assignment as Division Officer was on USS Chancellorsville (CG 62) in Yokosuka, Japan as the Fire Control Officer where he completed several independent operations and multiple multinational exercises including TRIDENT WARRIOR, CSOFEX, MALABAREX, and NEPTUNE THUNDER. He then served in the USS GEORGE WASHINGTON (CVN 73) as the Reactor Propulsion Division Officer where he completed one USSOUTHCOM deployment and a DPIA. Following Department Head School, he served as the Operations Officer in USS TRUXTUN (DDG 103) completing one C4F CNT Deployment and then served as the Chemistry and Radiological Controls Assistant (CRA) in the USS DWIGHT D. EISENHOWER (CVN 69) where he completed two deployments to C6F/C5F.
Ashore, CDR Frost served as Nuclear Programs Officer for Navy Recruiting Command Region East, as Operational Test Director for Commander Operational Test and Evaluation Force, and as the N7 for the Afloat Training Group Norfolk. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Information Systems and a Master of Science Degree in Engineering Management from Old Dominion University.
CDR Frost’s military decorations include the Navy Commendation Medal (five awards), the Navy Achievement Medal (four awards), and numerous other personal, unit, and campaign awards.
