Command Master Chief
Command Master Chief Petty Officer(SW/AW/EXW) Pablo Rosado hails from Brooklyn, NY. He graduated from Edward R. Murrow High School in 1988 and enlisted in the Navy in February 1990. He completed Recruit Training and Machinist Mate “A” School, at Great Lakes, IL, in September 1990.
In October 1990 he reported for duty onboard the USS NEW ORLEANS (LPH 11) San Diego, CA, he was assigned to “A” Gang, Engineering Department.
He cross rated to Aviation Ordnanceman (AO) and graduated AO “A” School in Millington, Tennessee, and Strike Armament Equipment Intermediate Maintenance Repair North Island, California, September 1994. His second assignment was at Aircraft Intermediate Maintenance Department (AIMD) Naval Air Station Lemoore, Lemoore, CA, from September 1994 - July 1997.
In July 1997 he reported to his third assignment onboard the USS GEORGE WASHINGTON (CVN 73) Norfolk VA, he earned his Enlisted Aviation Warfare Specialist.
His fourth assignment was at Recruit Training Command, Great Lakes, IL, which he served as a Recruit Division Commander and Battle Station Facilitator from December 2001 - August 2005. He earned his Master Training Specialist qualification.
His fifth assignment was onboard the USS KITTY HAWK (CV 63), Yokosuka Japan, G-3 Division Weapons Department CPO, from August 2005 until June 2008. He earned his Enlisted Surface Warfare Specialist (ESWS) qualification.
In July 2008 he reported to Navy Cargo Handling Battalion ONE, Williamsburg, VA, Combat Skills/Training Department LCPO, he earned his Expeditionary Warfare qualification.
On September 2010 he reported to his seventh assignment Helicopter Sea Combat Squadron TWO TWO as Maintenance Department LCPO and Quality Assurance Supervisor.
He is a graduate of the United States Navy Senior Enlisted Academy, Class 137 and Command Master Chief/Chief of the Boat Capstone, Class 109.
In December 2012, he reported onboard USS GARY (FFG 51) assuming the duties as Command Master Chief. He is currently serving as the Command Master Chief onboard the greatest cruiser in the world USS LEYTE GULF.
He has earned his Associate in Applied Science. His personal and unit awards include the Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal (three awards), Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal (six awards), Good Conduct Medal (six awards), and various unit and campaign awards.
