Lt. Cmdr. Jeffrey A. Anderson
Executive Officer

Lt. Cmdr. Anderson was born in Peoria, Illinois. He graduated in 1998 with a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Purdue University and was commissioned through the Purdue Naval Reserve Officer Training Corps.

Following Nuclear Power Training Anderson reported to USS Rhode Island (SSBN 740) Blue in June 2000. He served as the Chemistry and Radiological Controls Assistant, Main Propulsion Assistant and Communications Assistant, Main Propulsion Assistant and Communications Officer and completed four strategic deterrent patrols. In December of 2002, he transferred to Nuclear Power Training Unit, Charleston for duty as a Shift Engineer and Staff Training Officer. In December of 2004, he transferred to Oregon State University Naval Reserve Officer Training Corps for duty as an Assistant Professor of Naval Science. There he completed a Master's of Science in Industrial Engineering.

After shore duty, Anderson reported to USS Seawolf (SSN 21) for duty as Engineer in December 2006. During his tour, he completed an inter-fleet change of homeport, two Panama Canal transits, a Western Pacific deployment and was awarded teh COMSUBDEVRON Five Engineering "E". In November of 2009, he transferred to U.S. Fleet Forces Command Nuclear Propulsion Examination Board. He reported to USS New Hampshire (SSN 778) for duty as the Executive Officer in August 2011.
