History
SSN 725’s keel was laid 16 September 1984 at General Dynamics Corporation, Electric Boat Division, Groton, Connecticut. She was launched 28 June 1986 and commissioned the 11TH of July 1987 thus making her the fourth ship of the United States Fleet to bear the name HELENA.
