Master Chief Fire Control Technician (SS) Ronald L. Clark is a native of Youngstown, Ohio. He enlisted in the U.S. Navy in July 1993. He completed basic training at Recruit Training Command, Orlando, Fla., Basic Enlisted Submarine School (BESS) and Fire Control 'A' School in Groton, Conn.
 
Clark served several sea tours including those aboard USS Key West (SSN 722) in the Fire Control Division. He served as the Leading Petty Officer of the Fire Control Division on board USS Pasadena (SSN 752). He also served as the Leading Chief Petty Officer of the Fire Control Division and Weapons Division aboard USS Louisville (SSN 724). He relieved as Chief of the Boat on USS Missouri (SSN 780) in February 2012.
 
His shore assignments include Navy Recruiting District San Francisco, Senior Enlisted Leader at Submarine Electronics and Computer Field 'A' School and later as Department Master Chief, Pipeline Technical Training at the Naval Submarine School in Groton.

Clark is authorized to wear the Enlisted Submarine Warfare device, the Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal (two awards), the Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal (five awards), the Good Conduct Medal (five awards) and various other unit awards.

Master Chief Clark is currently serving as Chief of the Boat, USS Missouri (SSN 780).
