Enterprise Dynamic Access Control (EDAC)
PDF Version
The U.S. Navy seeks to commercialize a suite of U.S. Patents Application based on U.S. Patent Application 11/081,896 (Role based access control).
The Technology
Access control is the process that evaluates access to resources such as software applications, web services, and facility entry. The Enterprise Dynamic Access Control (EDAC) is a unique role-based access control (RBAC) that automates the complexities and labor-intensive tasks of assigning users to resources. Unlike other RBAC systems, the EDAC’s powerful role-assignment technology accounts for corporate, environmental, and user-profile attribute changes on a real-time basis to determine resource access. EDAC exceeds specifications set forth by the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) under Role-Based Control Standard ANSI INCITS 359-2004. _96217_et_al_TIP_Image_Panel_2_of_2.jpg)
