The Counter Tunnel System has a multi-robot operator control unit (MOCU) that is both modular and flexible. It allows for the user to control and receive agnostics from multiple robots at one time. The user is able to communicate with the robots through either a wireless radio or a fiber-optic link. While the robots are exploring the tunnel, they create a 3D visualization based off of multiple variables. While the robots observe object(s) of interest, changes over time (structure, use, contents), and geographic location (big picture overview), it also collects data based off of volume calculations, measurements, and construction technique analyses.
