Second Annual Workshop on

NAVAL APPLICATIONS OF MACHINE LEARNING

 

The Second Annual Workshop on Naval Applications of Machine Learning will be held
13-15 FEBRUARY, 2018, IN SAN DIEGO, CALIFORNIA
 

The workshop is a three day event held at the Topside location of SPAWAR Systems Center Pacific. We are soliciting participants from the Navy, DoD, and IC communities, as well as from industry and academia, to give oral and poster presentations about on-going or previously published research or operational applications. Talks will be 15-20 minutes long, and should be technical in nature, aimed at a general scientific audience. The material should be publicly releasable (distro A).

that is less than distro A.

 Please submit abstracts by 15 October 2017.

 
 

 

The goals of NAML are:

  •  To spread awareness of current machine learning research relevant to Navy applications
  • To connect machine learning researchers with experts in Navy needs and requirements
  • To build and strengthen collaborations within the DoD research community
Presentation topics can be anything falling under the very broad machine learning umbrella, including (but not limited to) the following topics:
 
  • Computer vision
  • Autonomy
  • Big data analysis
  • Artificial intelligence
  • Operational applications of machine learning
