The Program Executive Office for Enterprise Information Systems (PEO EIS) oversees a portfolio of enterprise-wide information technology programs designed to enable common business processes and provide standard IT capabilities to Sailors at sea, Marines in the field and their support systems. PEO EIS ensures these programs maximize value to the warfighter by balancing cost with the capability delivered to the end user.

PEO EIS program offices:

Naval Enterprise Networks (NEN), PMW 205, manages the acquisition life-cycle of the Department of the Navy's (DON) enterprise-wide information technology (IT) networks. NEN's portfolion includes the Navy Marine Corps Intranet (NMCI), the OCONUS Navy Enterprise Network (ONE-Net), and the Next Generation Enterprise Network (NGEN) contract.

Navy Enterprise Business Solutions (Navy EBS), PMW 220, is a portfolio program of IT solutions for aligning the Navy's money, manpower, and materials. The Navy EBS portfolio includes both Navy Enterprise Resource Planning (Navy ERP) and the E- Business and Electronic Procurement System (EPS), which modernize and standardize Navy business operations by providing unprecedented management visibility across the enterprise and increasing effectiveness and efficiency.


Global Combat Support System-Marine Corps (GCSS-MC) , PMW 230, supports the modernization and sustainment of Marine Corps supply and maintenance functions through the development of a web-based common user interface that provides an integrated and distributed logistics capability enabling leaders to effectively plan, manage, execute, and monitor logistics operations from both a garrison and a forward deployed environment.

Sea Warrior Program (SWP), PMW 240, manages a complex portfolio of IT systems that enable the Navy to support Navy human resource management, criminal justice, Fleet support, afloat business applications, Navy and DoD portfolio management, DON administration, and jiont aviation aircraft scheduling. SWP's portfolio consists of over 60 systems and initiatives.

DON Enterprise Software Licensing (DON ESL) , PMM 172, leads a joint Navy and Marine Corps strategic sourcing effort to consolidate, centralize, and streamline the acquisition and management of the DON's ESL agreements. By leveraging the combined buying power of the Navy and Marine Corps for enterprise-designated software vendors and products, ESL enables and supports Defense Department Chief Information Office IT consolidation and efficiency efforts. ESL improves the DON's IT/cyberspace investment decision practices as well as enterprise-level evaluation, funding, management, and tracking of current and future requirements for all enterprise-designated software vendors and products.






Data left and Application Optimization (DCAO) is the Navy's designated execution agent for data left consolidation. DCAO office oversees the transition and sustainment of applications and systems into secure and cost-effective hosting environments. The DCAO directorate coordinates with stakeholders and approving authorities to ensure all systems meet rigorous information assurance requirements to protect the network.

PEO EIS Innovation Cell (InnCell) leads the Navy's charge into the commercially available enterprise IT solutions arena by aligning requirements and delivering technical insight. A collective approach between the Program Management Offices (PMOs), industry, and the InnCell ensures that assessments consider acquisition criteria and tech-insertion options in support of enterprise-wide needs.
