NIAPS Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) Whom do I contact to get the NIAPS process started? The Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC) Crane has been tasked by the Distance Support program office, PMW 240, to be the lead activity for the NIAPS process. NSWC Crane has a team of individuals who are standing by to assist anyone who wishes to have their product considered for inclusion on a NIAPS release. A product will be considered for a NIAPS release if the product owner can answer 'Yes' to all of these questions:
