CMDCM (SCW/EXW) Percy Trent graduated from Graham High School, Bluefield Va. He joined the United States Navy on July 05, 1989 and reported as a recruit to Naval Training Center (NTC) Orlando, Florida. After graduating from NTC, he attended and graduated from Builder “A” School in Gulfport Ms.

Master Chief Trent’s first duty assignment was Explosive Ordnance Mobile Unit Five Cubic Bay Philippines. Follow on assignments include: Naval Mobile Construction Battalion Three in Port Hueneme, California, Commander Operational Test and Evaluation Force Norfolk Va, and Naval Special Warfare Development Command(2 tours) and Naval Mobile Construction Battalion Five. In February of 1996, he graduated from the Senior Enlisted Academy. In April 2010 he assumed the duties as Command Master Chief for Naval Mobile Construction Battalion Three.

CMDCM(SCW/EXW) Trent is a qualified Seabee Combat Warfare Specialist and Expeditionary Warfare Specialist. His personal awards include: Defense Meritorious Service Medal; Joint Service Commendation (4 awards); Joint Service Achievement Award; Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal; Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal(4 awards) and various unit and campaign awards.
