Command Master Chief
CMDCM (AW/SW) Darcy Beauchamp
Master Chief Beauchamp is a native of Santa Ana, California. He enlisted in the Navy in June 1991 and reported to Basic Training at Recruit Training Command Chicago, Illinois. After graduating boot camp, he reported to Aircrew Survival Equipmentman “A” school in September 1991. In January 1991, he reported to Helicopter Anti-Submarine Squadron ONE (HS-1), NAS Jacksonville, for his first tour of duty. His following assignment was to Helicopter Anti-Submarine Squadron Light EIGHT FOUR (HSL-84), San Diego, CA. He was assigned as the LPO of the Aircrew Survival Equipment Division; advanced to Second Class Petty Officer and earned his qualification as Enlisted Aviation Warfare Specialist. In September of 1999, he transferred to Helicopter Anti-Submarine Squadron Seven Five (HS-75), NAS Jacksonville, where he advanced to First Class Petty Officer. In 2003, he transferred to the Center for Naval Leadership, Mayport, FL, where he earned his Master Training Specialist designation and advanced to Chief Petty Officer.
In June 2007, he reported to Fleet Readiness Center Mid-Atlantic Site New Orleans (FRCMASNO) serving as Production Control, Quality Assurance, 700/800 Division LCPO/Division Officer. While assigned to FRCMASNO, he served an Individual Augmentation tour to Kuwait as the Warrior Transition Program, Senior Enlisted Leader (CTF 56) and advanced to Senior Chief Petty Officer. He was selected for the Command Senior Chief Program in 2010. He is a graduate of the Senior Enlisted Academy, Class 153 (Gold) and Command Master Chief course.
In October 2010, he reported to USS STEPHEN W GROVES (FFG 29), Mayport, FL, as the Command Senior Chief. While assigned to the GROVES, he earned his Enlisted Surface Warfare Specialist qualification and completed an African Partnership /NATO Counter Piracy Deployment. He was the last Senior Enlisted Leader to serve aboard. STEPHEN W GROVES decommissioned on 24 February 2012.
In March 2012, he reported to Helicopter Anti-Submarine Squadron Light SIX ZERO (HSL 60), Mayport, FL, as the Quality Assurance LCPO. In June 2013, he advanced to Master Chief and served as Maintenance Master Chief until May 2014.
Master Chief Beauchamp is currently serving as the Command Master Chief for Navy Expeditionary Logistics Support Group (NAVELSG), Williamsburg, VA. OOHRAH CARGO NATION!!!
Master Chief Beauchamp’s personal awards include the Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal
(5 awards), Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal (5 awards), and various unit awards and citations. He is married to the former Lisa M. Bronson of Lakeland, FL, and they have two sons: Christian and Connor.
