 Naval Mobile Construction Battalion FIVE

Welcome to Naval Mobile Construction Battalion FIVE's web site. We've provided this site to acquaint you with “The Professionals” and help answer any questions you may have about coming to join us. Our goal is to make your transition as smooth as possible.

I am extremely proud of our Battalion’s history, culture and past accomplishments. You should count yourself fortunate to be assigned to one of the best units in the Navy and the Naval Construction Force. We have a strong, solid leadership team and teamwork throughout the command. I firmly believe you are embarking upon one of the most rewarding and professionally fulfilling tours of your military career.

For those of you that are new to the Seabees, you will find no other Navy unit as well known and appreciated. You will be amazed how the Seabees’ reputation for ingenuity and “Can Do” spirit are renown throughout the Department of Defense and the world. The Seabees have supported world-wide combat and contingency operations since 1942, building advanced bases and conducting humanitarian recovery missions. For those of you returning to the Naval Construction Force, you will find the Seabee legacy alive and well in NMCB FIVE. We are the "Construction Force of Choice". Every “Professional” takes pride in their contribution to building and enhancing the Seabee legacy.

Good luck and welcome aboard!
