Our mission is to provide rapid, high-quality, “built-to-code” construction support to the Navy and Marine Corps; conduct defensive combat, humanitarian assistance, and disaster recovery operations; and maintain a high state of mobilization readiness. Our Battalion consists of over 600 Ready Reserve Seabees who train at 10 Navy Operational Support Centers (NOSCs) located throughout Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, and Puerto Rico. We are headquartered at our Readiness Support Site in Jacksonville, FL.
Our Seabees have a very proud and long history of construction support. I hope you enjoy exploring this site and learning about our readiness activities. I am very proud of our diverse backgrounds, construction skills, and ability to defend what we build. I welcome you and appreciate any questions or feedback.
