San Diego is the second largest city of California and the United States' seventh largest, with a citywide population of nearly 1.3 million residents and more than 2.8 million residents countywide. Within its borders of 4,200 sq. miles, San Diego County encompasses 18 incorporated cities and numerous other inviting neighborhoods and communities, including downtown's historic Gaslamp Quarter, Little Italy, Barrio Logan, Carlsbad, Chula Vista, Coronado, Del Mar, Hillcrest, Escondido, La Jolla, La Mesa, and more.
San Diego is known for its pleasant climate, over 70 miles of beaches and many family attractions, including the World-Famous San Diego Zoo and Wild Animal Park, SeaWorld San Diego and LEGOLAND California. San Diego offers a wide variety of things to see and do, appealing to visitors from around the world.
