Contingency Mission
- To provide responsive military advanced base construction support, general military construction and defensive operations in support of the U.S. Navy, U.S. Marine Corps, and when directed, other services and agencies.
- To operate in different environments ranging from Crisis Response and Forward Presence Organizations through Limited Major Regimental Contingencies (LRC/MRC)
Peacetime Mission
- Training, to be prepared to effectively accomplish the contingency mission.
- Provide direct contributory support to Fleet Commanders to assist in construction, repair and maintenance of the Navy ashore infrastructure.
To provide a fully trained and ready Reserve Naval Construction Force Operational Regiment where individuals:
- are encouraged to contribute ideas,
- are recognized for contributions, and
- are easily integrated into Active Naval and Marine Corps Forces
